Established in 2001, Venezi@Opportunità is a Special Agency of the Venice Chamber of Commerce whose primary mission is to implement initiatives to promote Venetian enterprises. Its philosophy of action is based on the belief that any territory must be promoted in an integrated way, taking into account its people, businesses, products and traditions and encompassing all relevant economic sectors, such as agriculture, crafts and trades, commerce, industry and tourism.
Aspo was established 20 years ago for the intended purpose of “conducting studies and promotional activities”. It was then entrusted with more far-reaching operational tasks , including the designing and construction of the new Val da Rio port in Chioggia. Aspo is a “ third-party entity” authorised to manage the port , which stands between the Port Authority and the local Maritime Authorities.
